Pole Barn Construction

There are many requirements when doing a pole barn construction project on your property. The requirements vary depending on what you plan on using the building for. Some of the important things you need to consider when planning your pole barn construction project are zoning and building codes where you live. You also need to decide what type of framing to use, pole framing is the cheapest and it also provides the best structural strength because the poles support and tie the whole pole barn together. The poles are going to be seen while inside of the barn but that is to be expected and does not matter because it is only a barn that you will most likely use for storage or farm animals. You can also consider platform framing; this is the more conventional method of barn framing. This process of framing is very similar to the framework of a house. There are options for roofs and floors during your pole barn construction as well. You can go with a metal roof or a traditional wood roof and the floor can just be dirt or gravel or you can invest a bit more and use concrete.
